1. What is Paintless Dent Repair? Paintless Dent Repair is a process in which highly skilled technicians massage the metal back to it's original shape with the use of special tools, allowing for less costly repairs without the need of bondo, fillers, or need to repaint maintaining the vehicles original finish, which maintains the value of your car or truck.
2. How will my dents look after my repair? Perfect in most cases.
3. Will it effect the paint on my car? No only if a dent is to large and the paint and metal has been stretched past it's normal qualities. A technician can make judgment by inspection of individual dents.
4. Will the Dents Re-Appear? No dents will not re-appear when properly repaired by a trained technician. In some cases if a dent is too large it can re-appear, however before repair we will notify you and advise which dents are reparable and which are not.
5. How long does it take? We will remove your dents while you wait in some cases. Individual dings take anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on the size and location of the dent removed. Complete hail damage can take 1 – 4 days once scheduled, much faster than standard body work.
6. How large of a dent can be repaired? We can repair most non-collision dents. It depends on how deep and wide the dents are. A large shallow dent is easier to repair than a small extremely sharp dent. Dents caused by car doors and hail are usually completely removed without any signs of a repair. Larger dents often can only be detected by an experienced eye.
7. Is Paintless Dent Removal covered by insurance? Yes. When removing hail damage, PDR saves them money on paint, materials, and rental cars. However, with door dings and minor dents you probably won't go through your insurance company because our service is so affordable.
8. What happens if I don't fix my car after making an insurance claim? In all cases insurance companies will put a hold on payment for future repairs which requires proof of repairs, in most cases a receipt.
9. Do we remove your door panel? No. We do not remove door panels. We have specially designed tools that slide behind collision bracing. There are many access areas already in your car or truck.
10. Are dings only removed from doors? No. We remove dings from all panels including your car or truck’s roof, trunk, and hood.
